$104,000 Contest

What would you do for $104,000 dollars? Would you gouge out your eyes for this kind of money? Ride through Hell on a bicycle? That is exactly what Active had asked of their contestants with their $104,000 contest.

Every contestant had to play through game #5, Ooze, on their Nintendo Action 52 cartridge. After the completion of stage 5 a secret code appeared making you eligible for the contest.

Yeah man, so you play play a lousy game to stage 5, then you get a secret code. What makes that so hard to do? The problem is that Ooze "hangs" on stage 2 or 3, making it impossible to complete under normal means. There are a few glitches that can be used to complete Ooze, though that is the only way to finish the game. No wonder the contest was a failure :)
